The Salsa Beargrease C Eagle 70 is one of Salsa's most versatile fat-tire bikes, designed for trail riding, winter adventures, bikepacking, and endurance events. The bike features a UDH-ready carbon fiber frame that is engineered for maximum pedaling efficiency while minimizing weight. The carbon construction also helps dampen trail vibrations for a smoother ride.

 

Beargrease uses modern mountain bike-inspired geometry with a 65.6° head tube angle, 77° seat tube angle, and 446mm rear center. This creates a long wheelbase for stability and control in steep terrain, soft snow, and loose conditions while maintaining maneuverability on tight singletrack.

 

The oversized 27.5 x 4.5" wheel and tire combination provides exceptional traction and flotation in snow, sand, and other soft conditions. The larger diameter also improves rollover capability when encountering rocks, roots, and trail obstacles.
